On April 22nd, 2025, in celebration of Earth Day, our team Aspiration Cleantech Ventures partnered with Periyar Government Peripheral Hospital, Chennai to take a small but meaningful step towards a greener planet.
In a world racing to decarbonize, we believe every small action counts. And this Earth Day, our action was to return something to the earth.
A Collaboration Rooted in Care
It was truly inspiring to see the medical community step forward and join hands with us. Special thanks to Dr. Kumaravel and Dr. Sikkander, both dedicated cardiologists, who didn’t just support the cause — they actively took part in planting saplings.
Their gesture beautifully symbolized how healing doesn’t end with patients, it extends to the planet we all share.
We are also deeply grateful to Dr. Hemalatha, the Head of the Hospital, whose encouragement and Enthus made the entire plantation drive possible. The warmth and cooperation of the hospital staff made this Earth Day unforgettable.
More Than a Celebration : A Promise to the Planet
This event wasn’t a one-off activity. It’s part of a larger journey we’ve been on for the past four years. Through our “1 kW per 1 Tree” initiative, we’ve pledged to plant a tree for every kilowatt of Heat Pump capacity we sell.
This pledge has already taken root in the following ways:
- 14,564 trees planted through Heat Pump sales
- 3,875 trees planted via different plantation drives
This initiative is our way of turning clean energy adoption into tangible environmental impact.
