Aspiration Cleantech Ventures was founded by the co-founders of Aspire Systems, a successful ISO 9001:2008 certified software services company with a workforce of 5000+ employees. Our journey is supported and seed-funded by the Renewable Search program (RE: Search), a collaborative initiative by IIM Ahmedabad’s (IIMA) Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).Our Director, Mr Logesh Nagalingam, is leading the integration and advancement of these state-of-the-art technologies, ensuring we stay ahead in the green energy sector.

Mr Bhoovarahan Thirumalai​​

Bhoo is a firm believer that “Success is a matter of willingness to succeed and to keep at it!”. His dream is to harness the high level of insolation abundantly available in India to provide cost effective energy solutions. Bhoo defines the strategic direction for Aspiration Energy and drives the team with agility. He is a regular speaker in both national and international conventions on renewable energy.

Before founding Aspiration Energy, Bhoo co-founded Aspire Systems and currently serves as one of its Directors of the Board. Prior to founding Aspire, Bhoo played a role in helping Larsen & Toubro, establish a successful market presence in plastic injection molding machines. He is an entrepreneur by heart, having founded and run several successful ventures in various areas.

He has a MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Illinois, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry University, India. He is also a certified PV designer.

As a key leader in Aspiration Cleantech Ventures, Logesh provides strategic direction and ensures seamless execution of projects with a focus on renewable energy technologies and industrial solutions.

Before joining Aspiration Cleantech Ventures, Logesh held pivotal roles in various organizations, where he contributed to technological advancements and business growth. His expertise in marketing and management, combined with a strong foundation in engineering, has allowed him to excel in both technical and strategic aspects of leadership.

Logesh holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing and Management from the University of Madras, graduating with First Class with Distinction. He also earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute, achieving First Class. Additionally, Logesh holds a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from St. Michael's Polytechnic College, where he graduated with First Class with Honours.

Mr Madhavan Nampoothri

Mr Madhavan Nampoothiri has more than a decade’s experience in the Energy industry (Oil & Gas and Renewables) and has been part of the Indian solar sector since the launch of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission. Madhavan has worked with multiple companies across the entire solar value chain including Project Development, EPC, Manufacturing, Financing, Off-grid PV and Policy & Regulations. Some of the entities with which he has worked include the World Bank and Tata Power Solar, among others.

Madhavan’s opinions have appeared in international media like the New York Times, Bloomberg, Green Tech Media and national media like Economic Times, The Hindu Business Line and Times of India. He is regularly invited to speak at international conferences on renewable energy in India and abroad.

Madhavan has an MBA from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, USA and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. University, India. Madhavan has lived and worked in China, USA and Switzerland.

Narasimhan is renewable energy and clean technology professional with almost a decade’s exposure to a wide spectrum of renewable energy domains, with special exposure being to solar and biomass energy. He is the Co-Founder and Director of EAI since 2007. He brings together a unique intersection of top management perspectives, India market knowledge, and extensive expert contacts. Prior to this, he was in various roles, in sales & marketing, in product management, and as an entrepreneur in a variety of Industries such as Market Research, Software & Internet, and Travel &Hospitality.Narasimhan has extensive experience in understanding renewable energy markets and strategic levers for success in these markets. His special focus has been his work on the Indian renewable energy industry. His work in the past two decades in India and the UK has spanned market and strategic consulting, industry research, product management and international sales.

His work for the Indian renewable energy industry has focused on providing business intelligence, strategic consulting and opportunity analysis to entrepreneurs, top management and businesses expanding into renewable energy. Specifically, Narasimhan has worked on critical assignments that span the entire solar PV value chain – from polysilicon to power plants – thus bringing forth comprehensive expertise and knowledge few, if any, experts in the country can boast about.

Narsi has a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) & an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C).
